Art Directing Team week 6

1. Creative Confidence (chapter 2 DARE)
I agree with his point. A lot of people have fare to try to create. "The process of guided mastery draws on the power of firsthand experience to remove false beliefs." Just have to do it to remove false beliefs. It called "self-efficiency". Guide people through a series small successes could help them gaining creative power and effect on their rest life.

Most people fare to unknown, failure. So just shift our mindset which don't think failure as unsuccessful, think it as opportunity. Don't forget Thomas Edison.

So prepare to fail, fail hard. There are processes to help (not a big leap).

There are also many ways to keep the creative confidence and overcome the fare:
Urgent optimism, give yourself the permission to fail, embrace your failures (mean you have to own it, figure out what went wrong and what to do better next time, don't being afraid to be judged, let go of comparison.

- Which activities did you find yourself 'in the zone'?
I find myself in the zone when writing (fantasy stories) alone, creating art or creating campaign to help others. I also attract to listen to other's magic stories from life and inspire creativity in kids' lives.

- Which activities did you find yourself staying inquisitive for?
The meaning of other people's projects, how they help others and make an impact.
"Weird" but imaginary stories in the real life.

- Which activities were you uplifted & magnificent by rather than emotionally drained?
Doing yoga and jogging, listen to music, sharing with others inspiring things, giving instruction for kids, creating new artwork

-What activities make you feel strong this week? 
Doing yoga
Taking care of myself (massage and exercise)
Keep tracking of my own learning progress (like right now, keep writing notes of what I learned)
Doing one thing I really love to do (building models I like)
I helped my bf designed his living room even though we have very different tastes lol
Challenged myself to invite my mentor have lunch with me together

- Identify a weakness
I think it is my mindset of finishing things. I normally trying to use the shortcut to finishing things. But forgot there are times I need to spend more time spending on it, and use methods to develop an idea or concept.

- Identify an activity that you are called upon to do because you are good at it but it doesn't leave you uplifted and you don't enjoy it.
Follow the rule or authority, work with people don't like cooperate, close up or untruthful. I am really friendly and easy to talk to, so I sometimes have to handle with people with other teams.

- Identify an activity that is all appetite but little to no ability (hobby).
